The arrival - Anne being her usual camera shy self was hiding and Sandy must have been that excited to see us he got the shakes for the second picture.

However, by 11.30 and on our way to Wemyss we stopped at the picturesque South Queensferry - the Fife Riviera - for a beer.
Just to remind you of what it looks like and the views from there, here are a
couple of pictures.

Coaltown, here we are, back home.

A quick look down the freshly painted "Rows" but,
where's my Ma??

And here she is, looking good for a 76'ish lady snuggled in her chair.

Despite the jet lag, a walk is in order on this beautiful summer evening
Could this be a West Wemyss oasis in the distance? Better check it out.
After sampling the local hospitality in the Belvedere, the return leg of this walk was out of the question (plus it's uphill going back!!)
Luckily there is an excellent local bus service that transports some of the Wemyss folk back and forth to the bingo.
And on the bus we met Betty Coombes - a popular figure on "Burn's nights" with Helen Bell.

After a pretty long 48 hours since we left Sydney, time to
catch some sleep.
Hope you have enjoyed the postcard, don't forget to come back for more.
Best wishes
Ziggy and Anne
